Homeschooling/Alternative Provision
Preston Tuition Centre offers support for homeschooled children aged 5-18, providing structured teaching sessions, tailored learning plans and exam preparation.
Homeschooled children can benefit from in-centre tuition, which offers a structured learning environment and potentially some social interaction.
We offer in-centre sessions for Maths, English and Science during weekdays, with daytime and after school sessions available. We also offer online sessions as detailed below.
In-centre sessions usually run for an hour, however, we can tailor this to the requirements of your child; our daytime offerings are often for two hours for example.
11+ Entrance Exam Preparation
We are 11+ Entrance Exam tuition specialists and have students every single academic year who have tailored tuition and access to our official mock examination, held each May/June.
We have multiple Primary teachers who specialise in 11+ and our Lancaster team boasts an impressive 92% success rate from 2025’s Grammar School intake from the students who sat our mock exam and
continued with tuition until sitting the real thing in September.
Whether it’s Maths, English or even Verbal Reasoning, the level required of students for a successful 11+ examination is not reached within regular Primary school lessons – hence the need for help and guidance to achieve the levels needed.
